This module was inspired by the burnman diaspora wordpress plugin.

It adds functionality similar to the facebook share, digg, +1 buttons. Assign the module to a position to show the share to diaspora icon. When a user clicks the icon it sends the page title and introtext (length is defined in the module parameters) to diaspora to be shared on the network.

PS. Slight problem with the " char - looks like we have to peplace it with a ' for now until I find anothe way. As html just shows up as html, linebreaks are missing at the moment too.
